BJP Site Engineering Services is a multi- disciplined company which provides site setting out, land and engineering survey services throughout many sectors. With fixed price solutions provided, our clients can be satisfied that cost overruns will not occur.

Our resourceful survey and engineering teams are working throughout the South-East capturing key data and controlling construction work with accurate setting out using the latest digital technologies.

Setting Out

The objective of setting out is to set out perfect position & levels of building lines and road alignments as per construction design drawings by applying different techniques and instruments using digital technology.

Generally, setting out comprises of the process for transforming construction design drawings onto the land by controlling each element, making sure it’s constructed to the correct position and level. Our experienced setting out engineers will liaise with the site team and carry this out.

Topographical & Land Surveys

Topographical and land surveys are measures that identifies the exact location of natural and man-made features. In essence it is a 3D dimensional map which shows their location, size, height and changes in elevation.

BJP produces highly accurate and detailed topographical surveys, from green field sites to urban environments. We believe our strength is our understanding of our clients’ needs and requirements, which enables us to deliver a high quality service. Our experienced survey teams are working throughout the South-East on large and small scale projects. We are able to undertake many types of topographic surveys and produce AutoCAD drawings to scale or data exchange format files.

Volumetric Surveys

A volumetric survey is a survey that accurately measures the volume of a stockpile or of earthworks. Volumetric surveys are used to provide an independent measure on quantities for quarry operators and sub-contractors to allow a bill of quantities to be agreed on site. With our volumetric surveys, you will get qualitative and quantitative data supplied in a 3D format, as well as supporting drawings for the project.

Site Supervision

At BJP we can provide site supervision to suit your needs and budget. We will monitor and review the on-site work process regarding technical and functional aspects of the project making sure all relevant QA forms, inspection sheets, and as-built information are completed.

BJP hires out the following equipment:

Trimble Base Station
Robotic Total Station both Leica and Trimble
Lasers both Flat and Dual Grade
